I would recommend a tiller for duck hunting as it's easier to maneuver through timber or tight river bends and i think a tiller is easier when picking up decoys by boat. it's hard to find a dual purpose duck hunting and fishing boat, but an 18' lund alaskan with a 90 hp is tough to beat for a great all around boat.. This boat fishes and hunts beautifully and is set up to do both! 2 camo seats included with hydraulic pole for the front. platforms, seats and cooler, are removed for winter duck hunting. the boat will come with a hard top, soft top, two trolling motors front and rear, lowrance depth finder and digital depth finder. boat blind is also included.. The duck boats are as safe as taking a bus or flying. the river is no wider than 300 yards and there is far less barge/ commercial traffic on the river in cincinnati than in boston or philadelphia ..
