♥ this is the noise i've been looking for to cover the industrial noises from the shop and allow me to focus on work -- with the added benefit of feeling like i'm headed for an island getaway! ♥ wow, i wasn't sure what how this generator would make me feel, but the ships engines and the waves have some sort of comforting and secure feeling.. Any noise in the boat is quickly, and very efficiently transferred into the water, where it can travel large distances. sound travels much better, and further, in water than air. those who dive will be aware how loud the noise of a passing boat can be.. A “cloak of noise” produced by motor boats is making small fish easy prey for predators, according to the first study to show noise pollution in the seas can have a direct impact on fish survival..
I've been on boats with outboards and of course mine's an i/o. both are comparable in noise level, the water and wind noise cause more problems for me than the engine does. todays outboards are super quiet and i/os have water cooled exhaust coupled with them being under the deck, both which make them about as quiet as outboards.. Boat is making a beeping noise coming from the gear shifter, and it wont start when in water. i have to tilt it up start it then drop it in water. and its not that easy i really have to work it..
